 This window is part of a commission totaling 1300 square feet of art glass in seventeen locations.  In order to create an environment inspiring to persons of varied faiths, Christian themes are presented subtly.  Red glasses that tightly define the upper portion of a Celtic Cross, ease into flowing lines as they descend, mingling with golden hues to suggest a Methodist Flame.

The colored glasses are mouth-blown, European opals, chosen because they soften intense light and gather low light.  This enables the colors to read well in both the north and south windows of the sanctuary.  Clear textured and white glasses surround the rich colors, lending an ethereal quality to the worship space.
