St. Columban is located in a small town with a rural feel; rolling hills, a beautiful river and many trees. Nature became the underlying theme for all the stained glass windows. As we talked about the varied qualities of trees, we started to see parallels in religious life. Thus trees became the theme for the six rectangular sanctuary windows.

Entry doors harmonize thematically with the windows inside the church.
